To be honest I think Spike is a very nice name for a cat. I used to have a kitten that I saved as a newborn and bottlefed (actually there were two boys, Spike and Harley) that was named Spike. I named him that because when I found him he was still partly in his sac and his fur was all crusty and dried out and all the fur on his head had hardened into a perfect little spike sticking out the front. Then I named the other one Harley because he used to kick his one foot when he nursed like he was trying to kickstart a motorcycle. So... long story short... Spike is an awesome name for a cat. Or you could combine your love of fish and name him something like Lake or River... or even something like Oscar would be adorable as an example. Any which way about it, have tons of fun and take lots of pics. There is not much in this world more cute or fun than a kitten! Enjoy!
