Here's a video clip to amaze you all ...

30 Hornets Versus 30,000 Bees

That's right, just 30 Hornets. Taking on an entire honey bee colony of 30,000 individuals. And massacring the lot of them.

Be amazed ...

NOTE : only works in Internet Explorer (sigh) ...

This quite old. Keep in mind those are wimpy European honeybees. The Japanese natives are easily capable of taking on multiple hornets by burning them alive (surrounding the hornet and vibrating until it overheats).

I like to think that whoever designed marine life was thinking of it as basically an entertainment medium. That would explain some of the things down there, some of the unearthly biological contraptions

I've seen this already, and it's mad. I really want to see the whole special.

Yeah I saw that part of the video too. What I find amazing about it is that the hornet can survive temperatures up to something like 117 degrees, the bees can survive up to 120 degrees, and so they vibrate until it reaches 118-119. Amazing. Just enough to kill the hornet, just enough to not kill themselves.

Back in the saddle!
