Set the camera up ready to go and huff several times on the lenz

Never EVER blow on the lense.

You'll get mold and mildew growing inside the camera.

such a insignificant amount of humidity over such a short period of time is not enough to even start up a colony of mold/mildew/fungus build up in a lens.

unless you live in a rather tropical part of the country, short periods of time will not harm the lenses.

continuous exposure to such elements will though.

That info is not new I have read it and it was passed on to me from a professional photrographer.

I have seen the fungus it is like a spiders web and the only place I have seen it is in far north tropical Aust.

I once had my lense covered by so much condensation (caused by air conditioning)I had to dry it with a hair dryer.

When I am in the tropics my camera bags always have plenty of those moisture removal packs.

Woah.

"Here you go Babel "<--what kind of flower is captured in the photo following the quoted words? It's looks like something from a sci-fi movie.

damn great pictures and er...interesting username colors.

Very good photos that camera certainly has an excellent Macro. Flowers can certainly be interesting especially if you can get extremly close.

A little tip when photographing fresh flowers do it early in the morning and give just a wisp of mist with a water mister the sun reflecting off the drops of water can be very interesting.

If you want that soft hazy look. Set the camera up ready to go and huff several times on the lenz this will then give you about 1-3 seconds to take the photos do as many as possible in a very short time it has amazing effects.

This is with a fewe drops of water on a beautifull French rose Delbard Chandon Rosier

Not a bad starter cam .

decent macro focus, about 2 inches....and I like that optical zoom, if you can just turn off the digital.

Since it's got manual modes ( )) you'll be able to play around with that whenever you're bored or want a challange .

glad you got something you like lets see more pics
