I think I've only seen Rainbow Dace,Notropis lutrensis, in the flesh, and that was just the once at a fish show. In Germany they're highly prized. You can pay premium prices for some of the Sunfish species such as the Lepomis and Pomoxis species. Unfortunately we don't seem to share the Germans' enthusiasm for them (sigh).  |
