I am not a great lover of these sites but it looks like I might have no choice but to use one.

My question is which are the better ones and why.
If you know of ones to keep away from PM me please to save any problems.

I have sen some sites that the photos reproductions are so small and not worth looking at.

Some are not the easest to you.

What I am looking for is a good site that reproduces a good photo, easy to use, and other FP members use without any major problems.

Finally not load you computer up with a lot of spyware etc.

i use webshots - it gives you the option to view the whole JPEG in full size, which allows you to view your pics in full quality.

It claims not to install spyware, and my spyware progs have never complained about it. I did disable it from loading on startup, and I use Zonealarm to control its access.

Butno problems here

Here's a link to one of my albums, if you click on the thumbnails, you can see larger pics, then you can choose to see the fullsize pic.

I like to think that whoever designed marine life was thinking of it as basically an entertainment medium. That would explain some of the things down there, some of the unearthly biological contraptions

I don't know what spyware programs you guys are running, but I had horrible trouble with webshots. As soon as I removed the offending components it refused to let me onto the site.

I think it was one dataminer and a few tracking cookies, but its been a while.

I agree that the facilities are great, but nothing is for free, and I found that what they charged was too much for my liking.

I have a Coppermine gallery now, and a basic Photobucket.

I had the very same idea about WebShots I was using it many years ago and a strong idea it was happening then. I am about to boost up my spyware and I can see problems with Webshots. They are possibly the best but as you said nothing is free.

Use [link=ImageShack]http://www.imageshack.us" style="COLOR: #FFFFFF[/link]. You don't have to create an account or anything; you just go there and upload the picture.
