What are some big products in your country that arent available internationally?

After reading about England not having goldfish (the food) it made me wonder.

There's a LOT Try moving overseas to really see what you'd miss...

For one thing, plain (oat) Cheerios are (or are least weren't when I lived there) not available in the UK...

Aero chocolate bars, especially dark chocolate. I got addicted to them when I lived in Canada, now every time the spouse goes back to visit he has to bring back a stash

Now while I lived in Ontario though I missed shopping at Target, Yankee Candle, Bath & Body Works, and Victoria's Secret

Aero chocolate bars

During my time in London I became addicted to Cadbury Crunchie bars. And also being able to get Cadbury Cream Eggs all year round at almost any tube stop It was great: get out of work, pick up a three pack for a pound, then head to the pub. Ahh, the good ole' days.

And speaking of the pub, I also lamented not being able to get two of my favorite beers, Miller Lite and Yuengling, outside the US... or in the case of yuengling outside this region of the US for that matter The abundence of Guiness Extra Cold made up for it though ... oh! and that's another thing, no Guiness Extra Cold in the US, at least not in your average bar. And no Leffe Brune in the US either.

Come to think of it, there wasn't much from the US that I couldn't get abroad that I missed all that much, it's a lot more the other way around, there's a lot that I grew to love abroad that I can't get in America... particularly beer

The obvious ones - Vegemite, Arnott's biscuits, Milo, Allen's lollies, Cadbury. A lot of these are available in the UK I think, but not the US, unless you look hard.

I was just saying to my BF yesterday that I'm really looking forward to going to a supermarket when we get to the US. Sounds strange I know but I can't wait to see all the different things on the shelves! I actually had a dream last night where I was in one and all I could see was American cereal brands - Cheerios, Capn Crunch etc., in enormous boxes. I guess that's my only connection to American foods, along with the other stuff that Koi Keeper sent me last year (Butterfingers! I'm going to eat so many Butterfingers when I'm there).

"...Cadbury..."

They're pretty abundant here in PA. I especially love the creme eggs*drool*

Is this it? :

Eat some butterfingers for me JB! Heidi sent me some last year.
If I ever moved internationally I would have to have a supply of vegemite, milo and timtams.

I've gotta be honest, I thought TimTams were horrible the only time I had em!

Umm, I missed really fresh vegetables when I was in the US. Even in London there are still stalls selling lovely fresh veggies by the side of the road, but I couldn't find a good greengrocers anywhere I went in Cleveland (does that count as a product ).

In China I got a really humugous craving for Digestive biscuits. Someone had brought a packet from the UK, and i'd eaten a few, which just set me off really wanting biccies!!

Oooh - and Spanish Cornflakes don't taste the same!!

Oh, and occasionaly I have this craving for this lovely sweet biscuit stuff I had in Cuba, which you just can't get anywhere else. Like wafer with sweet paste, yum, yum lovely!

I can bring some back for you if you want Lindy! It would be cheaper for me to post them to you from Brisbane than it would for someone in the US to post them...but then again if they get into my house they might never emerge again...

I lived just outside of Detroit MI and before moving away 4 years ago Timmys were starting to sprout up around the area...

I'd never seen French fries on a Taco Bell menu until I lived in Canada
