i think about when my snake was sitting at 9ft and how i was running out of room to keep him in his cage. but there are plenty of places to take these guys without having to dump them, that's just wrong

Ok, pythons may be not the best looking animal alive, but like every animal they can feel pain. That snake was probley used to slidding around on sand or w/e that was in his cage for substrate to be then slidding on pavement with glass , and who knows what else, not knowing where it was going, thats just cruel.

Isn't it true if you get an animal, that can live over 30 yrs such as that python that you have to have it signed into a legal bond of some sort? If so I hope they track down the owning and charge he/she with animal cruelty and fine he/she heavily.

I love reptiles. That is a wonderful creature. Temp near freezing - not nice for our reticulated friends.

A pet dumped... maybe it escaped? Poor thing. If it possible to buy baby pythons then I am confused. If something is going to be completely unmanageable once it grows up then why do the pet shops sell them? (don't answer I know it is the mighty dollar speaking) However, that is so silly. Reptiles are not widely available in Australia because they take some specialist care. If you have to get a licence and get the stock from a specific breeder then chances are that you are more knowledgable than the impulse buyer at the local mall.

No selling pets to impulsive ill prepared pea brains please!
