I had downloaded an old picture off the internet with the intention of saving it to disk later, but somehow I dumped the thing and must have sent it to the recycle bin without knowing it. Now I am sick!
I cannot find the website I found the picture on either. Do any of you know of a software that can recover lost data from the recycle bin after it was deleted?
It was a rare find. My aunt and uncle attended a breakfast in Fort Worth, TX on November 22, 1963, with JFK - just before he got killed in Dallas. The picture was of my aunt and uncle out front of the hotel. My Aunt has a hankerchief over her head with one hand, with her left hand stretched out to shake JFK's hand. I wanted to send a copy to my Aunt when time permitted, but my husband had surgery on the 17th, and I have not had time. Now it is gone.
Any help will be appreciated.
Trish

Moondog,
I tried the program and it seems to be good for files (if you know the number), but I did't have any luck with in on the picture. It brings up a lot of stuff downloaded from websites that I did not even know were in there - lots of full and partial fish pictures, HA!
I guess I am just out of luck where the picture of my relatives is concerned.
Thanks anyway.

I have written to the Texas library in Arlington, and they have turned it over to the libarian in the Special Collections department. There is hope after all! Now, if only they are the ones who have it.
