I just spent a week in the Outer Banks, wow it was so pretty. Everyday i was on the beach i saw dolphins, it was so cool! I went to the North Carolina Aquarium; it was not huge but it had a nice collection of fish; they had some really nice freshwater plant work, my family thought i was so weird when i started naming all the plants in the tank...lol...:%). I wish i had gotten some pictures! I forgot my camera . I never knew that there were saltwater killifish! That's cool!

Well that was fun, except when my mom picked me up at the airport i asked her how my fish were and she said, "oh i forgot to feed them!" I was so scared the entire ride home. Apparently she completely blanked on the fish. Luckily, when i got home, no one had died! My planted community obviously survived on the plants, but my shelldweller tank only has shells and sand and my kribensis tank has a lot of rock work and a few crypts, i don't know how they survived but i am so happy! The only bad news: my betta, Picasso is pretty sick, i hope he makes it.

So sorry for your Betta, but very glad that all the others made it & you enjoyed the hoilday.
