OK I have a Sprint phone...a Sprint Camera Phone --Sanyo 8100 to be exact...

Been a great phone...have had it for 16 months...no problems really....

Now all of a sudden (for the past 2 hours) it has been telling me that it is charging...

Not bad, I guess most of ya'll are thinking, BUT!!!

It's not plugged in to anything!!!

Any ideas???? Thanks

Throw it at a wall, thats what I do with mine.

Have you tried turning it off taking the battery out and cleaning the connections with a clean rubber eraser ?

maybe its so intelligent, its pre-empting your actions? Fuzzylogic phones? Maybe if you change it, it will be happy

can you access the other screens or are you locked on the charging screen?

well, if you have the phone insurance you can call them up, tell them you want a new phone and you'll get a new phone. and most of the insurance things will let you get whatever phone you want (within reason)

EH EH, I had one of my old Nokia's, after about 2 years it became POSESSED. Great phone, but it was weiiird.

Guess it's just a phone thing, it is past its prime!

I still don't know what it is doing...

I've turned it off, and then it goes to the charging screen...I removed the battery and put it back on...still charging...cleaned the connectors, you guessed it, still charging...dropped it still charging, blew air into charging recepricol, again same thing...cussed it...evil eyed it...that night when I put it on the charger the charge light went off, and refused to charge...

Finally threatened to feed it to the Cichlids and repeated all of the above again, and suddenly it began to work like it should...no problems now... Let's hope it stays this way...

Thanks ya'll...Oh and Tim, I didn't plan on throwing it against the wall...I was thinking throwing it out on the 610 Ship Channel Bridge during rush hour....
