I have no insulation in my place and it was 36*C in my fish tank. It was 46 outside. I dont want to have another day like that again.

*enjoys the cold snap*

Yeah, we had the A/C on dave, but it doesn't get to the kitchen and a girl has gotta eat! It was like walking into a tropical butterfly house!

I was icing down almost all of the fishtanks (axies were doing it tough and by the end of the day every icebrick i had was melted

Definately only want one or two ofv those days a year. I'm not holding my breath though, I remember last year we had about 3 in a row in late January.

I want a really deep pond move over koi, I'm comin in!

For once it was hotter in Sydney than in Brisbane - and I had to be down there on that day! On New Year's Day too . I was actually wishing I was back in Brisbane!

It's been really crummy so far here, we're way below average snowfall and it's been hovering around freezing the last two weeks

A chook is an emu/peacock hybrid..
They eat the same ammount as a chicken, produce less waste, aren't as noisy, have larger eggs, have no predators and look better. A lot more efficient than a standard chicken.

Unfortunatly due to the hybridizing they are sterile and suffern greatly in times of strong wind, hight humidty, low tempurature, low moisture in the air sea breezes, freezing conditions, or high salt content.

Hey, I'm sipping hot chocolate too! Well, hot Milo, that's the way we Aussies do it . But I am sitting next to open windows, even though it's raining () with the fan on.

Its near 70F here...and winter. Crazy. But I'd rather have 70F than 20F. I like mild weather.

it's supposed to be about 30C here today, and this is supposed to be our winter time!
