Well we got a shipment of stuff at work from australia. Freshwater stuff.
Amongst them were these cardinal-type fish, but are actually freshwater. They are mouths with fins.
Glossamia aprion is the name of the fish. The common name for this is one of the best i have heard and well suited for a fish ever. Ladies and gentlemen, please find out about MOUTH ALMIGHTY!

I have seen mouth almightys housed with breams....

They may be brackish species.

nope.
Strictly a freshwater species although most other members of its group are marine. Found in dense vegetation in streams, ponds and reservoirs.


Also these were caught in fresh.
There are similar speceis that are brackish, for sure, and some that are full marine..

Well I just checked the link you put up (something I should have done in the first place) and found out the fish there is completely different from the one that I saw at the aquarium. The store owners must have mislabelled the fish.
