	What Season Is It?
monkeyboy Fish Addict Posts: 521 Kudos: 375 Votes: 223 Registered: 10-Apr-2005	michigan weather is showing its evil head again. 65 yesterday afternoon, 40 last night, high of 69 for today, and 29 with snow tonight. and i wonder why i'm looking south for a new position with work lol. just glad all them tornados near st louis is missin my sister. Fish tanks are an expensive addiction

The trees are already out in full and it is in the 90's (farenheit). We only have 2 seasons: summer and hotter than summer! I'm 5 miles, as the crow flies, from the Rio Grande river and 15 miles north of Brownsville, so it stays hot down here. It's down right miserable in the summer with temps in the 100's and high humidity. Not all of Texas is as hot and muggy as it is here. We're about 20 miles straight in from the Gulf of Mexico....it's about 35 miles to South Padre Island from my though. I'm sure there's all sort of drunken debauchery going on there this week...it is Spring Break after all. ~~Melissa~~ "Beauty is in the eye of the beer holder."

OMG i loved it. Fish tanks are an expensive addiction

As for the snow, it does snow quite often....especially up that far north Texas, but it's not going to be 18" of hard pack that lasts for months. It snows a little, stays for a few days, and goes away. It can get pretty cold there, but not below 0. ~~Melissa~~ "Beauty is in the eye of the beer holder."
