Well, where I am is pretty far south and it's summer already. The trees are already out in full and it is in the 90's (farenheit).

We only have 2 seasons: summer and hotter than summer! I think our lowest temp. this winter was 35 degrees (F) for a day or two, then back to the 60's & 70's.

Yep, I live in extreme South Texas. I'm 5 miles, as the crow flies, from the Rio Grande river and 15 miles north of Brownsville, so it stays hot down here. It's down right miserable in the summer with temps in the 100's and high humidity. Not all of Texas is as hot and muggy as it is here. We're about 20 miles straight in from the Gulf of Mexico....it's about 35 miles to South Padre Island from my though. I'm sure there's all sort of drunken debauchery going on there this week...it is Spring Break after all.

Oh yeah monkey, it's a good 8 hours drive from Plano down here to where I am!! Texas is an enormous state and I'm at the very bottom tip of it. Somtimes feels a little like the end of the Earth.

yea i heard its quite a trip to get from one side to another. one reason i'm kinda hopin they send me, is cause from what i've seen over the past few years of waiting and wondering, is that things are cheaper than up here in michigan. that and no snow and no below 0 temps

Yeah, cost of living here is quite a bit cheaper than most places....probably even in Plano, which is known for it's affluence.

As for the snow, it does snow quite often....especially up that far north Texas, but it's not going to be 18" of hard pack that lasts for months. It snows a little, stays for a few days, and goes away. It can get pretty cold there, but not below 0.

last few years the amount of snow we get goes down. this year i think we had about 18" total over all 4 snow falls. then its gone after 2 days..

we actually here have 5 seasons, 1 of them over laps 3, we go winter, then starts spring and road construction which lasts until winter starts.

well it was about 68 this morning, its been raining for the past like three weeks now, and tonight its supposed to drop down to 28 and snow. im redy for spring, winter is one of my favorite times of year, but were not going to get much snow at all, not even enough to make it look pretty outside, just enough to   you off. I love big thunderstorms, but we arrent having any, its all just sprinkiling or raining, constantly.

It's about 27-30C still most days where I live . But this is Brisbane, and we're in autumn. Doesn't usually start dropping til about late April/May.

Is it getting warmer yet in Southern California? What about New York? I will be there in just over a week, cold would be a nice change I admit but warm clothes are heavier to carry around!

well, I smell remarkably like a gym shoe, so its still summer here.

Anywhere from 20-40*C, but always j-u-s-t humid enough to make it unpleasant.
