My favourite fish i'm keeping atm is my Frontosa. Why? Because it's cool. I got it cheaper when i traded in other fish. I can't remember the actual price though.

My favourite fish that I want to keep/or haven't kept are Altolamprologus Calvus. They're just awesome fish.

"Rams are around £12 a pair and cacs are around £10, but I know a breeder of SA dwarf cichlids and I get the fish in exchange for plants, and his fish are much better than any fish I could find in the shops."

:Envy bound: Cacs cost les than rams there?

No one said Rams yet? Well, rams are my favourite. Blue rams especially but I like my Bolivian rams as well (never had gold rams... yet). It's not only for their looks (come on, I'm not that shallow!) but their personalities as well.

I also like cacatuoides, especially the females as they are nasty little buggers, fearless and evil, but harmless.

Got to give my mad Panda Corys a mention here, haven't I?

Expensive at £8 each, hence the shoal was built up piecemeal. But now I'm getting babies, I'll be able to sell them on. And if I can raise a batch of 20+ babies all together, I've been promised half retail price for them ... 20 babies minimum x £4 each = £80 in my pocket. Should help to pay for the proposed setting up of the 4ft upgrade to the Panda Fun Palace™

I like Oscar though i have never had the tank to have one of mine own. But if i ever do that will be the fish i get. They have tons of personality and eat almost anything. I think there around 4$ for a baby.

Out of all the fish in the world, I can't pick a favourite. But my favourite fish out of those I keep is my johannii. I think he cost me $4 at an auction, but they are about $10 in the shops.
