Fluff and Puff, who eventually became a chicken dinner Ohhhh nooooooooo I would have bawled my eyes out! My weirdest huh? Well I have had two iguanas, numourus hermit crabs, and a Tokay Gecko...can't say any of those are terribly uncommon though. If we really wanna talk weird, all of my pets are weird per say, they're just not uncommon. I swear I have the most messed up dogs God created LOL ![]() Brandi |

If you ever decide you are going to get one, just let me know. She has black/white, chocolate/white, and albino. Buttercup was one of her black and white babies, and Sprout was a black and white from a pet store that no longer exists. He originally came from the Ruby Fur Farm in Iowa (I think Iowa anyway). I, personally, have a fondness for the black and whites (like that wasn't obvious!). LOL! They really do make great pets. Sort of like a oversized ferret in a lot of ways. Be prepared though to put as much or more effort into their food preparation as you do your own. They can be a LOT of work! They eat a lot of fresh fruits and veggies. Loads of work and loads of fun! Oh, and one major piece of advice for if you get one... spay/neuter it AS SOON AS YOU POSSIBLY CAN! If you don't, they tend to become a bit on the mean side once they sexually mature. If you ever want any advice or anything about them, feel free to ask... I am more than willing to be of assistance. ![]() |

Stormy, thanks for all of the great advice...I will definitely come to you if I get one. I have always wanted something in the rodent-like family for a pet. (Aka-skunk, ferret, raccoon, etc...) It is nice when your experiences and knowledge can be used to help someone else. A couple of my friends have had 'coons as well, and the one friend who breeds the skunks also breeds them. I found the skunks to be a little more sweet. I used to breed ferrets. They can be VERY fun to own. Only thing you really have to do with them is make sure they don't think biting is okay. They are like eternal kittens, so they are always up for some good roughhousing and play. Any which way, you are certain to have TONS of fun! |

It wasn't all that cuddly and used to head butt my mum when she needed to hang outthe washing. She hated it (and it is fairly obvious that the feeling was mutual) so it had to go. I don't think the new owners had it all that long...picture a spit roast. ~~~ My fish blow kisses at me all day long ~~~ |
