moondog       Moderator The Hobnob-lin Posts: 2676 Kudos: 1038 Votes: 4366 Registered: 30-Sep-2002   | yes, i know in israel that more people have been killed per year in car crashes than in suicide bombs. by a very large margin too. a woman i work with today was telling me that she knew a couple who had a premie baby, and within a couple weeks of the baby being released from the hospital, they were killed in a car crash, mainly cause they weren't wearing their seat belts, but the baby lived because it was strapped down in its seat. I envy people who have good eyesight and are able to drive a car. They have far more independance than me and also the jobs market is full of adds saying "must have drivers licence". Well that was a bit off topic but its my 2cents. |
