I drove out of my way to go to Petco... not the one near me, but the next farthest one. Why, you ask? Because I'd seen some betta tanks that I wanted, and my Petco was sold out.

They're lovely, simple, solid glass tanks, just over a gallon capacity. Comes with a clip on light, no top, but that can be remedied.

Here's the nifty part... there was no price on the shelf, so I brought one up to the cashier and asked how much it was. Original price: $14 and change. Reduced price: ... a whole, great grand $3.68.

Yeah, you guessed it... I went back and took the remaining two others.

The tank cost less than the ornament I bought to go in one of them. *snickers* I'm trying to find info about the company "Ocean Free", but not coming up with anything. Tank size is about 7.5" x 5.5" x 7.5".

Just thought I'd share since everyone else is getting all these great deals on tanks.

Actually, keith, I've been looking for a tank like this for a while... ever since I saw some really gorgeous nano tanks on the AGA contest. I can't pass up a deal, though. Three glass tanks for the same amount as ONE of the tanks I get from Walmart? Hehe. MINE.

Besides, we're girls... we always look for bargains ... of any type.

uh petco up on 290 was a big dud
petco on spencer hwy was, uh success Ok I broke down and got 2 of the 4, and keep thinking one of the "larger" ones with the HOB might be nice as well

The best deal I can get here is a 1gal plastic tank for $6 (AU) (I got one of those a couple of days ago actually )

Found a great use for the 1 gallon tonight

Temporary home for the BN fry and guppies while swapping substrate and filtration over in the 29it was crazy, but only temporary and made the fishies so happy to be back in the 29 when I was throughit's not that I caught all the guppies eitherbut it worked short term
