Wow... very skinny people... I am 15 years old almost 16 and I weigh 150lbs. And i rarely eat fast food . I agree with Sneaky_pete. That fast food is not good, even once in a while . I also have gotten those dizzy spells. If you eat healthy... or some what healthy... as long as you are active you will be fine and not gain weight. Well it depends on the person but exercise (as well as healthy diet) is the key to being healthy .

The only thing I will say is watch out if you find you're craving certain foods.

I got really, really major cravings for dairy products, like pints and pints of the stuff, cheese, etc. As well as tummy pains and other stuff. When I stopped eating dairy products, I found that i was actually pretty lactose intolerant and show allergy symptoms (tingling lips, fast heartbeat, etc) when I eat milk products.

Apparently it's something weird in the way the body processes food that can often cause cravings for a harmful substance. *shrug*

BUt it is normal to be a hungry teenager - if it's a problem for you, try keeping candied ginger, dried fruit and noodles handy, all low in fat but filling. Oh, but if you're having hunger pains, heartburn, etc. it's worth getting checked out.

One of my best friends is 6 feet tall and only 130 lbs. She's constantly eating too. I don't think she's ever been full. But she has a really fast metabolism, and couldn't gain weight if she tried. People think she's anorexic because she's so thin. Me, I need to lose weight, but if I exercise a lot I end up a lot hungrier and the weight stays and turns into muscle (I haven't lost weight in I don't know how long) and then into fat again if I stop... which I don't want to be running all over the place in this heat. Just can't win...

Omg you people are all so skinny!
I think the problem with your weight issues
is not how much you eat but what you eat.
Greasy Gross McDonalds food and other fast foods
like that can have 30 Grams of Fat in a single burger!
Not to mention that but the hormones and antibiotics
they feed to that fast food meat is probably not very good
for you either.
Also, I dont particularly like the idea of eating
parts from thousands of cows in a single hamburger either.
I think you would find you would gain some weight if you
ate 3 healthy meals a day, without all the sugary pop and fast food. You would also feel a whole lot better.
When I stopped eating fast food and quit drinking pop,
I lost 15 lbs in 2 weeks and felt way more energetic.
Yucky fast food.

I'm almost 18 and weight 115 lbs. metabolism is a wonderful thing, and I advise we enjoy it while we can.:%) When I was 14 I was around 103. I know since I wrestled that year. I was a really skinny kid back then, hehe.

I'm a little different in my eating habits, though. I cannot eat too much at one time 'cuz my stomach is probably just not big enough or something. However, within an hour or two I can usually eat something again, so I usually go through the day eating at least five times (going to college with only three meals a day in the meal plan means I'm gonna have to adapt).

I've never been actually physically active except for the past month, but my weight actually hasn't changed; in fact, I think I'm a little heavier now that I'm actually building some muscle.

I get dizzy occasionally, though not as seriously. I usually just see lights in my eyes and I can't see or think straight for a while. Kinda as if I had been tackled really hard or something. In any case, if I start seeing lights, I start eating stuff. It helps. It doesn't happen to often, but it does if I don't eat enough for breakfast or something.

One word: metabolism

I've been that way my entire life. My favorite foods are pasta and chocolate which I eat every day. I can easily eat a large pizza including crusts and dippin' sauce. I do not eat ice cream without chocolate syrup and whipped cream

Growing up my mom would say enjoy it now, your body will change when you're ___ (fill in the blank with different ages as I got older).

I am now 38, have had 5 children, am almost 5'9" and maybe 105lbs. I do not exercise, although parts of my job are physical.

Unless you have other health concerns don't worry about it. For example, in my late teens I started having frequent dizzy spells and found out I have both low blood pressure and low blood sugar, therefore I'm supposed to eat frequent, small meals & snacks.

My biggest complaint is that my friends at work call me 'Stick'

Hi,
The appatite sounds "normal" to me.
When I hit my teenage years, I would eat:
A full breakfast,
Three sandwiches for lunch at school,
A sandwich & cookies for a "snack" on returning home from
school,
A full dinner (meat, potatoes, vegetables, milk, desert)
A sandwich or milk & cookies before bed.

I think my dad had to get a second job to afford the
appatites my younger brother and I had!
I weighed 145 and grew to 6 foot.

When I hit my 40s, and remarried, my wife Susan set
about putting some meat on my bones, and at the same time
my metabolism changed. Now I eat more sensibly and have
to actually be careful about what and how much I eat.
Ah well, another "phase."

Continue to consult a doctor.

Frank

it ended thankfully.

no more 20+ rolls of film from one customer... bad for business, but at least we can be quiet and get back to one hour times

and no "I want four of everything on my card, i don't know how many are on it though"

and then us finding out that theres 500 images.

2000 prints later... well, you get the idea.

Honey, that doesn't surprise me in the leastcan I tell everyone one of the things I learned in inservice last week that has stuck with me? Tough I'm telling ya'll anyways

It is totally normal for a teenage girl to be hungry, and to eat The female body begins producing a hormone during the time when a female is in her early teens that causes her to be constantly hungry...it is preparing your body for things that may come later in life, and it has to begin preparing you now...

So with that said, don't worry about it...it's normal, in fact if you weren't always eating then I'd be worried I've taught teenagers for way too long...it's amazing how much ya'll eat...but hey ya'll are growing and need the extra energy

Now for the teacher in me to come out...I know Sheila began school today :#( big kindergartener now :#( So I know school is beginning soon for a lot of us...have a good school year, and be nice to your teachers, ok And this teacher will try and be nice to all of her new kiddos I begin with the students on Monday and no I'm not readyespecially knowing I have to be ready by Saturday morning when we will be having Cougar camp
