Me.

We need to start a 12 step program for it. I haven't had any in a long time though, because I don't eat out very often anymore. When I was at school last year I was eating it constantly because it was one of the few things I trusted to be somewhat healthy on campus.

I like all of it, but nothing beats really good sashimi.

I am completely addicted to wasabi.

Please don't tell my fish, I still love them and would never think of slicing them up and serving them on some sticky rice.

agreed sashimi is awesome, wasabi on the other hand...well it's growing on me. I love the pickled ginger .

had some tuna, salmon, and red snapper sashimi on saturday I have found my new favorite restaurant. the host and hostess were so kind and polite, they gave us a bunch of freebies with dinner, and even served us free sake (not me being under 18, but still it's sweet)

the only kind i haven't yet tried is the kind with the raw egg on it O.o I'm sure I will have it one of these days.

don't worry tryst FW fish are not good for sushi as humans can get parasites and diseases from them. It's better to stay to SW fish.

why couldn't you have it while pregnant?

fatty acid bioaccumulating toxins? or something of the like that can harm developing prenatal humans?

But yes you should go out and celebrate with much sushi and green tea. also cold cucumber soup is very nice.

Something of the like.
Raw meats and undercooked meat are something better left untouched while pregnant because of the risks of Salmonella, E. Coli, Toxoplasmosis and other bugs which can harm the developing fetus.

Sushi, ham and soft cheese (camembert and feta) were what I wanted the most and could not have. Making up for it now though.

Make a good dipping sauce it is easy.

Wasabi soy sauce (specially made for wasabi)
Fine slivers of chilli (can be bought in small bottles)
Grated fresh ginger, bottled red pickled ginger will do.
Wasabi plenty of it

With this as a basic you can add as much of one ingredient as you prefer for taste.

Use it as a dip not leave the raw fish in there as this actually cooks it by pickling.

Word of warning the fish must be exceptionally fresh to get the true taste also it is the safest to use. I have froze tuna which I have caught. Then shaved it with a very sharp wide cooking/chefs knife.

The best I have eaten was fish I just caught the taste was delicious.

I really only like the rolls... Salmon rolls are my favorite. Although - I know it's completely psychological but, I have a REALLY hard time eating sushi in the same room as my fish tank. Feel like they are watching me. . .

Movie and food in theme. Ain't that the best?

I love sushi. Especially at the sushi train... THAT is fun.

Not much one for sashimi though (texture thing)

or very fresh raw tuna yum!!!!!

They've opened a lovely sushi truck on Victoria station - I'll be treating myself to lunch from there when I interview on Wednesday!

I'm still waiting for the lovely NHS to get around to getting me appointments to figure out why milk and yeast make me ill, so sushi is the perfect lunch food, whilst sandwiches are on the blacklist!

Yum a definite special treat!
