Hahaha that's so cute It looks like they've settled in nicely fishie

I actually got a pic of one of our dogs looking after a copule of our sick ratties, she's a real mother this dog and while the rats were laying on her she resisted the urge to scatch at her summer itch that is driving her mad right now.

Her problem is a flea allergy
The only way to treat/fix it is to stop the fleas from getting to her. She has the problem every summer and it becomes harder and harder to treat because the fleas seem to becoming immune to most of the flea treatments you buy and they only seem to last a couple of weeks. She's 10 y/o too btw

aww one of my school friends, has a black lab also with horrable flea allergies only, they dont help him at all, they just yell at him for scratching on the carpet i feel bad for him, he is like 50 pounds over weight, allergies, and their house is covered in his hair, the times i was over there, i never saw anyone attempt to pick up the wads of hair that was every where, the cleanest room was the kitchen, also the catbox smell is bad enough to knock you out! and plus, their cat just had kittens for a second time!

but im still trying to get their outside dog out of there too, she is so smart, about 5 years old and is a lab/sheperd mix, loves to sit one my feet, and only listens to me, i showed her leadership, and love, i cleaned out the chicken coop she lives in, and cleaned out her "yard" which constisted of dog crap, dirt, and weeds, i was so horafied when i first saw the conditions i told her to get me the rakes, and i said that i was going to clean this mess up NOW! well, of course it just had to be pouring out, but i got half way done, and decided to go inside, i finished it the next day, and now every time i go over there i have to do the same hting, i even put some sodd in there to help with her upset stomach, they feed her crap food, and what ever is left from their dinner, weither it be cabbage, meat, fat, it doesnt matter to them! i finaly convinced them to give her up to me, but now i have to convince my parents....oh boy..fun fun.

For the flea allergies have they tried garlic? There's a company, www.springtimeinc.com that has some for dogs/horses, etc. I used to feed it to my horses and it worked reasonably well for flies, but it stank. That was a powder form, I think they may have tablets. Might be worth a try, anyhow...

No, I've never tried garlic but I will look into it Piscesgirl, garlic repels just about anything so it should work for the fleas
