Just be careful who you buy from. Always check their feedback. Report someone if you have a bad experience.

Before you criticize someone walk a mile in their shoes. That way you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

Hi, I use ebay whenever I want to buy ANYTHING and have never had a bad experience after 80+ transactions. I've also bought nearly all of my stuff for my tank : filter, bog wood, heater, plants, sand and rock, ornaments, even the food from ebay all for much less than I would pay in the shops. ie: Brand new Fluval 3 filter for £22uk inc P&P - they normally cost much more than that.

I have bought bikes, a lawn mower, multi fuel stove, camping stuff, clothes, CDs, books, mini disc player etc etc and have been really pleased with them all.

Avoid people who have changed their ebay identity though.
The important thing is to buy from someone with at least 97% good feedback who has at least 25 positive feedbacks and never bid at all until the last minute or you push the price up.

I'm just REALLY careful when I use ebay. If they have 100 feedback or less, then I only accept 100%. Over 100, only 99%. 500 or more, 98%. 1000 or more. 97%. If they have under 100, then I try to contact them and make sure they are true and whatever. I always make sure they are good with talking back and forth. That way, it just helps if there is a problem. Otherwise, I trust ebay. I've only had 1 bad experiance, but in the end, everything worked out. Also, ebay and paypal were VERY helpful with making sure I got satisfied.
