I occasionally call my rabit jewl tetras inappropriate names...
And when I get a 2nd bolivian ram I plan on naming the pair bonny and clide.

I have a new name...I call my Panda cories...my little Panda boogers. Haha!

Twiggy Butt - farlowella.
Squishy - Koi angelfish.
Shy Guy - Clown plec.
Fish I used to have that I named:
Satan - 6" male pink convict that killed -every- fish I ever tried to keep with him.
Groucho - Silverish angel with 'eyebrows'.

Cake or death?

I have four bettas under my control (two at home, two at work) they are:

1. Mr. Fishy Fish
2. Mr. Feather Fins
3. Juan Valdez
4. Ricky Martin

The fish in my 29 are harder to name because all the harley rassies and cherry barbs look the same. My opaline gourami has been called "Silver" by my son, but I call her "Opal" (how original ) and my plecostomus is "Scribble Lips" he's a scribble pleco with big lips. I have a male sunset platy named "Blaze" In my 10 I have an african clawed frog named "Kermit" and a dwarf gourami named "Bad Gourami" because he was being mean to my opaline and I had to move him to the 10.

I may be a little warped.:%)

Ive given up on the practice as the fish I have named in the past have all died in odd ways shortly after naming them.

EDIT: I would however, like to call a khuli loach "wigglestick"

I know but wasnt sure how it was spelled really LOL so blue was close to it they about sound alike

I'm having to rename my fish after the losses in October. Which is a pity because I had 8 Pandas in the Panda Fun Palace™ who were named as follows:

Mata Hari (Star breeding female, now no longer with us )
Shy Di (the other breeding female, also gone )
Rudolf Valentino (star male, with extra long barbels)
Scooter (mad as a hatter, now gone )
The Marx Brothers - Groucho, Chico, Harpo and Zeppo (Chico went with the other casualties )

From the other aquarium I also lost Lady Emma Hamilton (second generation breeding female), Big Junior and Small Fry, and I only have Big Junior:The Next Generation™ surviving from that batch. He's now in the Panda Fun Palace™ with the others.

Now I've got three new Pandas to add to the mix. So I'll have to find names for them all.

I'll post a list when I have the new names lined up for the fun guys in the Panda Fun Palace™ ...

Oddly enough I never named my Otocinclus, except for Methuselah who lived to be over 9 years old. I'll have to find names for the four in there - if I can tell them apart!
