After many years I finally got my hair to a length I like. Unfortunately losing it is a frequent side effect of one of my meds and that's happening to me now

To look at me it's not noticeable, but I see it in the tub, on the floor, carpet, even my pillow. Every time I find a clump I feel like crying :#(

It's still thick but who knows which way this will go. Are there any vitamins or anything natural I can take to help? I know this whole thing is vain but it's certainly not helping my depression any

I had alopecia areata last year, which was hair loss in patches...like major hair loss...(It's fine now )

I tried some creams and such but didn't work. The Doc said the best thing was low stress (Excuse for you to get a 240 gallon ) and good circulation (excercise). And the Doc said good blood circulation would let the hair grow better too, so I decided to get a smaller and lower pillow so blood is easier circulated when I sleep.

Some say eating more ginger/garlic foods will help circulation too, but who knows.

What type of shampoo are you using? The GOT2B products are great for the hair!

Vitamin a/beta carotene gives you healthier hair. It's not to be taken as a supplement though - you'd get it from your ordinary diet (Dairy, liver, eggs)

Vitamin B2/riboflavin is also for healthier hair. You'd get these mainly from fruits - cherries, apricots, blackcurrant, kiwi, peaches, beansprouts, broccoli, parsley, red peppers, etc.

Good luck

Do a comb-over! ....sorry.

Some barber was trying to get me to take the vitamin 'L systene'. But he was acting like a bit of a salesman and I did some searching and found that it does bugger all for your hair.

I don't know for sure, but aren't prenatal vitamins supposed to be really good for hair and nail growth? You could always get some of them and try them outI know our walmarts here have them as over the counter meds, so no prescription is necessary...

Another thing, and folks this is weird so laugh if you willI didn't have any antibiotic when a buddies cat got ahold of me a couple of weeks ago, and knowing that Melafix is good for fish bo-bos I put some it on it once I cleaned it off really well, and well (this is gross) the leg hair in the area has since gone insaneand tryst says it is good to add to your conditioner, so you could always give it a try...

If nothing else works Theresa, say "to heck with it, it's summertime, and I wanted a cooler look and feel."
