Where exactly are you off to?

And yes, June is a bit chilly.

Theme Parks:- Seaworld, Movie World, Dream World, Wet & Wild, Currumbin Bird Santuary & Reptiles, Mooloolaba Shark World.
It is winter at that time of the year, but it does not get as cold up in the north, like it does in the south. June is the first month of winter here in oz, so that could be a good time to come on over. Not too cold or hot.
I live on the Gold Coast which is about 80k from Brisbane. ***Tiger

PS If you do come on over, bring plenty of money, as those theme parks are not cheap. Around $40 per adult. If you go to a travel agent you can get a special deal to go to 3 of the theme parks at a discount price. ***Tiger

still dont know much about the details due to we cant decide where we are going. either africa or oz and new zealand, it is going to be a 2 week thing, and maybe 5 extra days in HA.

it should be fun, just hope the weather isnt bad in either place.

Gold Coast theme parks are mostly $60 AU for an adult, except for Wet 'n' Wild which is about $38 AU. Australia Zoo, etc further north are around $20-$30 AU. But it's worth keeping an eye open around town because there are a lot of discount offers floating around for these places.

Underwater World at Mooloolaba (about 45 mins north of Brisbane) is worth a visit, especially if you are up that way anyway for Australia Zoo.

There's plenty to do in Brisbane itself as well - a lot of people bypass the city and just go straight for the beaches, but I can assure you it's a lovely place and worth the visit (yes I am biased!)

I actually work on a Brisbane tourist guide, so if you do decide to come up here, shoot me a PM and I'll send you a copy of the issue closest to when you'll be here. Generally I'm kind of a wealth of information about touristy stuff in this area, so ask me anything you want!

Well, i'm sure the sydney crew can gather themselves together to give you a guided tour
