I know I took 3 years of French, 2 years of Russian, 1/2 a year of Spanish, in high school Then of course in college had to take 2 years of foreign language so went back to Spanish (French was the other option, but only after I'd taken 1 year of Spanish) But, in all honesty you don't become fluent in a foreign language unless you have to really use itbut then again that is just my opinion heidi "I've got a great ambition to die of exhaustion rather than boredom." Spanish is prob the easiest of the most common (Italian is just as hard/easy). From easiest to hardest: Spanish/Italian French German Chinese/Japanese (if avalible)

It was pretty much a dead even split between those who did great and those who did horribly (I exclude those students who don't do a lick of homework and don't show up for school, and all that stuff).

The spanish was very handy when i was travelling round Cuba! ------------------------------------------------- I like to think that whoever designed marine life was thinking of it as basically an entertainment medium. Eight years later I then moved down here to Northern Mexico (Rio Grande Valley of Texas 15 miles north of Brownsville) You almost HAVE to know Spanish to do anything down here.
