what do u think the 2006 season will be like,

i just got my season tickets for the new york mets,

i think they are going to do good, for a couple of reasons:
the marlins, they are kinda done b4 the season starts, b/c they trade away all their stars.

hopefully they in the next week willl get bary zito to add to their starting rotation, and with paul laduca , carlos delgado, and x. nadie, and billy wagner, this team has made alot of great off season moves, and i think they would be favorites in their division.

Hey bettachris,

I'm a huge Mets fan too. Delgado, Wagner were great moves. Getting Nady for Cameron was a salary dump to make more room for Wagner I think. Lo Duca will be alright until we find someone better in a year or two... i think Omar just got tired of Molina/ Hernandezs' agents, they wanted to start a bidding war to get thier clients more money (and why not...), Omar just didn't bite. Frankly I think the Wilpons have put a sort of cap on his spending.

I think we'll have a really good year. Beltran can't be worse than he was last year, and Wright is set to explode. Jot reyes down for at least 60 steals...

So how do think the top of our line-up will go?

Reyes - Beltran - Wright - Delgado - Floyd is my guess.

And as for division favorites? Nah, I wouldn't go that far. Until proven otherwise, Bobby C. and the Braves are division favorites.

let kolb back, easily.

turnbow has got the power, no doubt. i remember him blowing it right by the mets in a game last year. but i don't think he has the finesse, the knockout pitch to be a real solid closer. he's more of thrower still, maybe he'll learn to pitch someday...

Im a Red Sox fan. I dunno what this season will be like, with Edgar Renteria gone, Johnny Damon's questionable re-sign, and Manny being Manny( wanting to get traded as usual)I'm not sure how were gonna do.

the Sox will be alright. I think they're nuts to trade Manny, which is why i think he's going nowhere. I mean, how do you get equal value for him? How do you replace 140+ RBI? how to you replace the threat he poses behind Ortiz? You dont just trade away a guy like that because he starts whining, you resign yourself to deal with his issues and you just let the man play. They wont miss renteria, he was error e, didnt add to much from what ive seen. Plus they went out and got a bona fide yankee killer in beckett. I think they're pretty set.
