hi everyone im new to the site and i love freshwater aquarium fish. i have a 10 to 20 gallon tank not sure exactly on the size with some plants and some real hardy fish.

I think as one of your first tasks you should attempt to find out how big your tank actually is. I would assume that many of the questions that you might have will require the size as an important element, for example for stocking, medicating, lights, and so forth.

If your tank is of rectangular shape, simply select the [font color="#800080"]Calculators[/font] drop-down option from the [font color="#800080"]Interactive[/font] menu section on this site, enter your tank dimensions, and pick the units (given that you are US, set it to inches). The result will tell you how big your tank is.

ya its a ten and i just recently got a 20 gallon tall hex. thanks for the advice all.
