you can only vote once per 24 hour period, but the 24 hour period is determined by the aquarank server at the same time every night. in other words, no matter when i vote here, i know that the aquarank vote will count again a few minutes after midnight local time. i don't know if it's midnight local time all over the world, but i am in US central time and i have voted in the afternoon and then a few hours later after midnight my time, and both votes counted.

And if you would have voted again that day when you voted just after midnight it would NOT have counted again.:%)

I think if you access FP once a day at about the same time each day you can be sure that your vote will always count for that day, if it is actually for the previous or next day in the location of the server doesn’t really matter.

If you log on only once every few days that following your advice and vote multiple times within a few hours might help to get the count up. But you would have to know how far off to the server time you are.

Where is that sites server anyway?

Actually your "secret" is just the way I set up the aquarank counter for the profiles. It doesn't have anything to do with the way Aquarank counts it's votes.

I'm a little concerned about the slip from #1. I know for the past few weeks a certain other site with only 200 or so members has cheated their way to the top, but I think that's been taken care of. So maybe we should get back on the voting bandwagon

oh, well i wonder if my votes have counted at all on aquarank then if that's the way the fp counter works and not aquarank itself

I dunno... I vote every day at about the same time. Only days I miss are when I'm out of town on the weekends or whatever. *shrugs*
