Was it a spider, or a mite?

I have had lots of spider bites in the past, from wolf spiders... they're not even as bad as a bee sting.

All Arachnids are venomous in some way I believe, but there are very few fatally venomous spiders and scorpions in the US (the vast majority of which live in the Southwest).
