Regarding water+cats

see, this is where dogs get the upper hand over cats. (and in the cuddly-ness area too ) dogs love the water. cats hate it. which are better? dogs. obviously.

oh and for those of you who remember our puppies, one of the dogs came back for a visit. this is him jumping out of our dog bath (which the dogs spend most of their time in) and his sister (who we own) standing in the tub. not really a good pic, but a funny one.

O f course it was worth it. Scareing a cat is a priceless thing to see. Espescially if they shoot straight up off the ground. Some alcohole and triple anti-botic will make good as new.

You do know that, while you sleep, cats suck out your essence through your breath? That's the real reason why they are said to have nine lives.
Seriously, at work we just resqued a dosen feral cats. Have to wear hawk gloves and thick sweatshirts to avoid those "ouchies".

When one of the cats was small, my hubby used to pick her up and twirl her around in a plastic grocery bag!! I always wondered if she liked it or hated it and just put up with it to be in the bag.. )Cats have a thing for bags and all!! ) It was sure funny when she would get out and kind of scamper off sideways- then come back about ten minutes later and have it done again!

I never bathed my cats except when they were really tiny and filthy or really sick I always figured if Mother Nature made them feel the need to fight tooth and nail on the threat of getting a bath then obviously that was a good reason not to give them one!! Also, I don't think it's too good for their skin or something? That contraption is a hoot and all, but it makes me think that people are too caught up with everything being so darn clean these days...... Poor kitty!

Gomer, I'm not partial to Siamese cats, but that second one sure is a cutie!!

yeah, look at your pictures. YUCK!!! Those nasty malevolent eyes, just saying "hmm, let your guard down and wham, I'll getcha!"

Yuck, yuck, yuck

They decimate local wildlife whilst still being fed at their home. They radiate hatred out their eyes, theya re just little bundles of wild wrapped up in a package of false domestication!

(and dont even get me started on dogs!)

pics of my sweet revenge:
savannah in her tub restraint
it is so much safer giveing baths this way! also, she is alot calmer, i dont get scartched and it easier to get all htose hard to reach spots on a cat...like their tail (she cant stand her tail being touched!)
savanah after i got dont with her
notice the evil glare
isnt her tummy cute!
its a porcupine cat
quick pic before my camera batteries died of her sister after her bath

oh, and that was savannah's first bath, we took her in as a foster had her give birth to her kitties, raised em, adoped them out, but we had to keep her

gah - looking at that reminds me of why I dont like cats.

Our old housecat never got me. Probably cos the only time I could ever go near him was when one of my other flatmates had him wrapped up in a towel and I was cleaning up his cuts and bruises, checking him for fractures and worming him.

Yuck cats!

my old ferret used to let me spin him all over the floor. he never got dizzy though, he would just get tired of it and then walk away
