came home from my camping trip a day earlie ,last night, to find my 55 gallon tank with a slow leak. how nice my tenk leaked on my camping trip, which caused me to leave a day earlie and now my tank is leaking. can i have any more trouble with water this week. so today i had to run out and buy a new tank and break down the other one and set this new one up. this hobby can cost some money when it sneaks up on you since i just bought a 125g 2 weeks ago. well just wanted to complain. thank you.

Where is it leaking Chris? You might be able to fix it and have a spare 55g.

Think you mean your tent leaked while camping. Only upside to that is it led to an early departure. Arrival at home was no better on the leaking front with a tank leaking at home. Hooley dooley. It never rains it leaks!

Hope you are not dripped on, water logged or sodden at the time of reading this.

By the way...you look really young in that avatar, you sure you should be camping without a grown up?

Chris welcome to the joys of fish keeping. I had a brand new tank leak all over my desk I can tell you that was fun especially when it was discovered after I went to bed. I can tell you late night/early morning that night.
I also had a 4ft leak that was a big insurance pay out carpets, and furniture as it was sitting a specially made and designed buffet/tank stand.

i think the tank is leaking from the top because the molding is cracked in the middle and the water was dripping from there but it ran into the corner where the bottom molding is cracked and was dripping from that spot but i am almost sure it was leaking from the top.
