Nightmares! I am also not good with heights, but I am getting better about it. Drowning is one as well, but I worked myself past that to snorkel in Cozumel in 25 foot deep water for an hour. Took me a second to work my way into the ocean, but once I was there and had myself calmed down, I was fine. One day I plan on skydiving to work past the heights issue.

EDIT: LOL! I was there for kitten's chat episode, and I know how ewwwwwwwwwwwwww it really was! *shudders* NASTY! On the lines of bugs, cockroaches give me the creepy crawlies, but I can handle tarantulas without an issue.

lol @ Bensaf

my bf has the same problem, he's a martial artist, who exudes an air of "dont try it, it'll hurt you more than me" to sober guys, which seesm to translate to "bring it on mofos" to drunk guys.

Luckily, his training also gives him the skill to walk away from a fight

me - I fear powerlessness above all

I like to think that whoever designed marine life was thinking of it as basically an entertainment medium. That would explain some of the things down there, some of the unearthly biological contraptions

water. Well, not water in itself, but water where it shouldn't be, or a lot of water.

Floods scare the crap out of me, eventhough my house will never ever be under water or even close to it, but damn. If i even get close to water and kinda hunch down and look out at it like i'm in it, i freak. Lakes, big big ponds, and floods. *shiver*

Spiders scare the crap out of me. Especially the small ones. But especially the big ones too

Anyway, just to sum up about fears in general, I believe a guy in an episode of Futurama said it best, "We're all scared! It's the human conditions! Whys do you thinks I puts on this tough guys facades!"

Wandering spiders. They are introduced around here (From South American bananas), and they are just about the most terrifying things on the planet.

They can have a 3" legspan, and although their bites are not life-threatening (at least the bites from the species around here), they are painful and cause swelling and huge boils that last for months.

Cory Addict you shouldn't have posted that there...Let's just say this, if it was me or the spider in the house, he can have the flipping house...take it all, I'm sorry even spiders in pictures freak me out, and it seems the older i get the worse this phobia gets...don't tell me that they are more scared of me. don't tell me that i'm bigger than they are...don't tell me that the won't hurt me...they are not more scared of me, when i see them i do not feel bigger than them, and they may not hurt me I do admit, but I will hurt myself in the process of getting away from one...oh no the only good spider is a dead spider, i just can't do it no way no how...when i lived in West Texas I used to roll the windows up on my little Toyota Corolla and punch the gas aiming at them to smush them to a pulp...the worst one was when i felt the bump...oh yes, they do get quite big, at least saucer size, sometimes as big as a salad plate...yes they are big, yes they can bite, yes they do jump (as much as 6-9 ft) ok i give i won't be checking back on this, but there will be no sleep tonight...i can see them, i can feel them...NOOOOOOOOO!!!! oh and did i forget to mention that I won't even save Sheila from them? Oh no, we're calling Grandma she can save us...we're just wait outside till she comes to save us...so what that it's 110* it's ok...he's inside we're be fine out here....hml

Earwigs and spiders. Really big mean people. Hieghts, but only 20ft-plus, and only when there's nothing to protect me from falling. Starving to death. Rap killing rock 'n' roll (I'd rather die a slow painful death. Rap can burn in hell).

Suppose it depends who's eating them

rats feet and tails (mouses too!)

That I think about things too much, that scares me. Wish I could just stop thinking sometimes! Contemplative/intellectual/questioning thought is good. Worrying about things you can't know because they are in the future or worrying about things someone said are not good types of thinking.
