Read up the instruction manual when i purchase this item, know all the benefit and all, but is curious if anyone of you all have any real time experience to share using this.....does it really help with improving the water quality ?

We tend to depend on ammonia-eating bacteria to do the job for us...

Many trops are being shipped from Singapore to around the world. Perhaps a further description of the item could be given.

As Gary has pointed out to me many times in the past, fish don't have chems added to their water in the wild (pollution aside) and as I have discovered to the detriment of my fish the addition of chems can be fatal. Like Gary says, let nature take it's course (it works and it's cheaper too!)

Good bio-chemical function: Its numerous pores can remove the P.S.B from pond water, deposit nitrifying bacteria as well as anti-nitrifying bacteria and supply them a suitable environment of growing and working. The anaerboic layer inside the filter material can promote the growth of anti-nitrifying bacteria. For more, on the surface of the filter material there is an enrichde oxygen layer which is suitable for the growth of nitricfying bacteria, thus the two layer form a perfect microorganic water treatment system.
