Anybody here like these products, I have heard good and bad reviews on these, would like to hear others opinions, shoot this may not be in the right area, if it's not a moderator may move it, I should have put this in a place like water quality.

17 years experience with freshwater.

While they may detoxify ammonia in an otherwise toxic situation, they'll only serve to give false positives, clouding your judgement on when your tank is free of ammonia.

In a clutch they can help, but I'd try to avoid them.

You'd probably get more of the info your looking for if you made a post asking what water conditioner people use and why. Especially if it was a poll. I think you have to be a premium member for polls though.
