I think i am going to buy a diatom and some KNO3 to fix my green water. I think i am going with the vortex for the filter. It is on that pet place for 68.99, or petsmart.com for 68.89. Has anybody ordered from either of these site? Which is better?

for the KNO3 has anybody ordered from

http://www.gregwatson.com/proddetail.asp?prod=Nitrate

on my previous thread someone mentioned it.

When using KNO3 how much do i use, and do I Continually use it, or can i fix the no nitrate problem by adding more fish?

Thanks for the help, I need to see my fish again.

Hi,
The Vortex is an outstanding filter, and will remove
the algae from the water, temporarly. It is not for
use 24/7. It should be run only occassionally.

Before you invest in that and the KNO3, I suggest you
read this article:
