	Film on water surface after feeding live brine shrimp.
Shark Small Fry Posts: 10 Kudos: 45 Votes: 0 Registered: 18-Jun-2004	G'day all My fishtank has finished cycling and I have since added guppies, cardinals and a betta. I bought some live brine shrimp from the LFS. The advise I got with it was to not add the brine shrimp water with my water, and there was no need to feed them as they already had a high protein diet. So I used a tea strainer to feed them to my fish and an oily film now coers the entire tank surface. Can this harm my fish? I am running a fluval 304 in a 4ft tank.

If you use the papertowel you'll just have to do it daily, whereas the surface agitation should take care of things for you . HTH a bit. ^_^ [/font]
