What color is the cloudiness? Is the tank cycled?

Posting your water parameters (mainly ammonia, nitrite, nitrate) will help.

I'm not your neighbor, you Bakersfield trash.

simple answer... depends.

All we know is that your tank is a 20 gallon and that it is cloudy. Before we can properly answer your question we need to get some information.

What color of cloudyness? The most common colors are White/gray, green, and brown. Each has a different cause. To help us help you, please answer the following questions:

~What are your water parameters? Specifically ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate.
~How old is the tank?
~How many fish are in the tank and how long has each been in the tank?
~What kind of filtration do you have?
~How often do you change the media?
~How much do you feed?
~How long are the lights on?
~Is there any direct sunlight?

Please give us any information you have about the tank. The best cure is to eliminate the cause. If you fix the problem itself, but the cause is still there, its only time before the problem comes back.

If its a new tank it could be bacterial bloom and will either clear by itself or with Water changes. This thread may help you and show what we mean by more information..
