Hey -

If you have a Mac there is a program called Maquarium from everyday software http://www.everydaysoftware.net/maquarium/index.html - it lets you keep track of your different tanks, the water quality and fish in each - it will make graphs for whatever period of time you select, it has a database of fish information to look things up, you can set your own parameters for what you want the water quality to be in different tanks, you can post pictures of your fish... Plus they are really nice guys and are coming out with a new version (they are on version 1.8, 2.0 is on its way) soon with a bunch of new features.

Anyway, I used to mess around with spreadsheets to try to keep notes on what was happening when with my fishes, but this program is wonderful, fun - free to try and $15 to buy. Recommended for Mac users. I found out about it from some other Forum, and like it so much I'm recommending it here as well.
