ok heres the deal.

i've had green water for about a month now.

i've cleaned the tank from top to bottom, changed the filtration tried regular water changes and the lot.
put different fish in thier. tried algae cure.

but it just wont go away. i've tried not having the light on. and having it cover up no dice. as soon as it goes close to clear and i turn the light back on it goes greem.

i know its not hurting the fish. but i need clear water!
i have 1 female guppy in there about to pop and i'd like the fry to have good water conditions..

its one of the 10G AquaOne tanks with a built in light and filter. although i dont use that. i use my own UGF.

any ideas? i'm getting desperate.

Hi.
Green water, it itself, is not harmful to the fish and
many "grow" tanks of it to feed their fry. However, it
is unsightly, and once the bloom reaches saturation, it can
suddenly die off, instantly poluting the tank.

Your main problem is that you are not resolving the CAUSE
of the problem. So far you have tackled the symptom or
result of the problem - the green water.
