![]() | High nitrites in fishless 29 gallon |
andie923![]() Small Fry Posts: 13 Kudos: 6 Votes: 0 Registered: 15-Jan-2006 ![]() ![]() | I have a vacant 29 gallon. Well, it has a freshwater mussel in it, as well as live plants. But otherwise, no fish. Its been cycling for about a month now. It has sand mixed with pebble. The pebble is from my established 20 gallon. When I test it the nitrite levels are quite high. I want to add some tiger barbs soon, and I'd love some help on how I can lower these high nitrite levels. |

When the nitrites drop to 0 it is safe to add some fish. Only add a few to start. 20 Gallon Long: Aquaclear 300 2 Bolivian Rams, Mikrogeophagus altispinosus: Gumby and Pokey |
