I figure an hour, but should I wait longer? |

I rarely test the older tanks, 'casue I can normally see when something's wrong. I actually tested by 30g for the first time in about eight months recently, only to show my boyfriend what the new tank's tests should look like when cycled. ![]() |

If values are far out of wack, perhaps you might want to change the water more frequently. As far as testing a tank after maintenance, I always check mine the next day. With a heavily planted tank, waiting allows everything to circulate and settle back down.
