A man after my own heart Cal! I also do 50% water changes about every 2 days on my tank Keeps Princess my veiltail goldie happy, and I get to enjoy feeding her without worrying too much about messing up the water.

I LOVE my python!!!!

It used to be Biweekly, but now that I have gotten a Python, I can easily whip up a water change once a week, maybe every 10 days at the most, for my 10,25, and 90 I do 35% weekly - 10 days. For my angelfish fry I do a 50% water change every 3rd day.

Currently I do a weekly water change of 15-20%, but I suspect that as my tanks become more established and stable I'll switch to bi-weekly, especially for the 75-gallon.

well, I usually do it every week-8 days. but since i recently planted I'm trying to go for every other week so I'll have enough nitrates for the plants.
20-30% for the ten and 15-20% for the 29

Well I have 2 parts to this answer. All of my Bettas get a weekly WC, whereas my Angel tank (29 gal. hex) gets bi-weekly WC's.

Uhhh, if I don't get busy, it's every week.

I've even had to start a log to remember when I did it, my readings, what meds or chemicals I had to add, etc... It's my "fishy log book." My friends think I'm nuts!

Weekly for most, but my breeders recieve daily.

My weekly changes are usually between 40-50% depending on the tank. Daily changes are about 20%.

*Edit* Trigger happy.

Depends on the tank, certainly, but although my tanks are quite lightily stocked I'm a big fan of doing water changes weekly or more frequently than that. Even with the heavily planted tanks (of which I'm down to one), it helps keep trace elements up, phosphates down, and the fish happy, healthy, and spawning.

Voted for It depends on the tank really

Actually, I'm mostly biweekly, being every two weeks not twice a week, even though the term can be used in both cases........ ........

Pond gets water changes about once a month. I'm running an experiment with a low tech planted tank that hasnt officially recieved a water change in a few months, no fish though .

I do it every other week, if I have the time. I do it that often probably 90% of the time, but it has gone about month before.

That's what I love about heavily planted tanks, though. I don't have to worry about it too much. Even after that long without a water change, the fish are still triving and the nitrates are still under 5ppm.
