Unless you did a 100% water change there should be at least some nitrate. How old is the tank? Is it possible that it hasn't fully cycled yet?

The tank is 5 months old but a month ago we had trubles with the natrates being 80 we got that down buy doing 25% water changes every week. And now it is all at 0 but the p.h

Edith,

If your test kits are correct then everything is ok, if the tank is not planted (as the plants like some Nitrates as food, you know).

There is no problem in the tank if all values (ammonia, nitrites, and nitrates) are 0, that is good.

Just to clarify, when you say your ph is 72 then you mean 7.2, right?
