My pH was a steady 7.0 Neutral, but my KH and GH were both ]2 degrees, probably more like zero. I'm currently trying to boost the hardness using crushed coral in my filter, but it's also raising the pH, which I don't want to happen.
I was hoping someone might be able to give me some suggestions on how to raise my KH and GH while keeping my pH constant.

I know you're going to say that I should just leave it and not mess around with the water chemistry too much, but I'm concerned with the fact that both KH and GH are actually nonexistant.

If you are going to do that sort of stuff, and want the pH constant, perhaps you need to do a little more research into what Kh and Gh actually represent. I could give you some suggestions about what to use, but think you're time might be better spent studying a little about KH and GH before you continue trying to make any changes. See following:

And whatever you do DO NOT use baking soda, only pure sodium bicarbonate. Baking soda contains caking agents and other additives.

Hi,
Actually that last comment should read something
more like be sure that you use only true baking
soda. Don't use those brands that have scents,
or extras in them.
