Does this product work? No fish stores here sell it (I believe theres a ban on all cultures of live bacteria and such).

Is there anywhere online that I can order from?

I dunno, I wouldn't believe something like that would work unless someone I trusted told me otherwise.

Actually that should be the only one having live, effective nitrifying bacteria (Nitrospira)for new tank. Other products mainly help them grow but do not add right away usefull bacteria.

It sure does, I don't think it is available until sept/oct due to not being able to keep up with demand.

Well then, if this stuff really works, then what a helpful little product!

In my experience it works really well. You may have trouble getting it right now, though. There was some problem with a batch of it in the lab last spring, and they had to start all over with another batch. (I know this because I actually called Marineland and asked them why I couldn't find any.) They told me it should be more readily available again by September.

You can cycle your tank in about a week with the stuff.
