My tank is 6.0 the and my tap is 7.2 the only thing diffrent is that I changed gravel recently could this new gravel cause my PH to drop? |

Once it is as established as the one you "overhauled" it should be back to "normal." Additionally, when you replaced the substrate you destroyed bacterial colonies that change the fish waste products to nitrates, and set any plants that you might have in the tank back. Now the tank has to recycle and in the meantime the waste products turn acidic and lower your pH.
