friedrice![]() Hobbyist Posts: 87 Kudos: 72 Votes: 3 Registered: 14-Aug-2004 ![]() ![]() | Just wondering how do i get rid of the "oily" film on the surface of the tank. I know that water agitation gets rid of it, but is there any other method? |

Others may reduce the amount of food being offered or simply change the brand for less oily food. Many times the feeding of frozen shrimp and other fish-related frozen foods will cause the residue. --garyroland. |

Make sure you temporarilly turn off anything that is causing surface agitation when you do it. |

With careful positioning, you can get it to siphon the water off of the surface. |
