Also has anyone recharged it like it claims it can be? here is the link to the product page. Purigen 55 Gal. 2 x B/N 2 x Ram Cichlid 3 x Platy |

I tend to be skeptical of any aquarium product that claims to remove ammonia and nitrIte as they shouldn't be present in an established aquarium and need to be present in a cycling one in order for a tank to fully cycle. I really dislike when aquarium companies tout some new product that alters or effects it. Soaking in bleach is just asking for trouble in the hands of people that don't know what they are doing. I very very rarely use bleach in my house because of what it can do environmentally to fish and plants outside the home. ^_^ |

I'm going to be watching the water parameters and see if anything goes wonky from what they are normally at. 55 Gal. 2 x B/N 2 x Ram Cichlid 3 x Platy |

I agree that in an established tank there's hardly a need for it other than just as a bacteria colonization location. ^_^ |
