Ive always used Stess Coat since my first tank. No problems yet.

Although I might give Prime a chance.

Who makes it?

I also started out using Stress Coat. I never really had any problems with my tanks. But after reading about some possibly harmful "side-effects" of Stress Coat, I decided to switch brands. I have since been using Prime. Since Prime is so cheap, I've been sure to use it every time I add water to my tanks. I had problems with chlorine eroding my Cories' tails, but since using the Prime their tails have completely grown back. Prime obviously works, so I'm sticking with it.

Heavy water changes make Prime my choice. Bigger bang for the bucks.

I voted for Prime. I have large tanks and I do large volumes of water changes, often. Using Stress coat isn't cost effective for my situation. I also have no desire to put aloe into my tanks. Just my opinion.
