I wondered what happened to you and thought you gave up the hobby.

Hey, Gary, me love, remember me?

I didn't quit 'keeping'...I still have my assorted tanks and betta bowls. I have been a bit 'under the weather' for the past few months, but I still love my fish.

I do admit I am having trouble in the care and feeding of my fish, but Hubby is definitely making an effort to pick up the slack...for which I am grateful...and you know, I think he is almost as fish-hooked as I am...I overheard him talking to the big Goldie the other day!

Newbies, ya'll pay attention to garyroland about starting a new tank. He and I agree on just about everything except those little "10-gallon glass boxes of death"! Gary hates 'em and I've had one going for about 2 years now, so I don't 'hate it!:88)

No reason to keep it going... My tanks were never as nice as I wanted them to be... They always lacked depth and personality... It just stoped being fun... *shrug*

Yes indeed...
People that are new to the hobby get overwhelmed by the time and effort that goes into a fishtank. When their fish start to die of disease and negligence, they give up in frustration.
These people need to do more research before they jump right into owning fish, in my opinion.
